About Us

Happy Tails Doggy Day Care was born from a conversation between two life long friends Rodger and Glenn.  The pair were talking about their dogs and how they would love to have somewhere to send them during the day whilst they were at work.  Somewhere the dogs could play and have companionship with other dogs.  This simple chat moved on to start a journey where they researched their local area for somewhere suitable over a 6 month period and what they found shocked them.  Although there are places to send your dogs during the day they were mainly homes with people claiming to be a day care.  Rodger and Glenn decided if they couldn’t find a suitable day care centre then nor could anyone else so the pair of middle aged dog lovers would open their own and with that Happy Tails Doggy Day care was born with the first site in Sundridge an idyllic site set in 100 acres of woodland and farmland.  With two large ponds and a stream set within mature oak trees and a great view of open farmland it’s the most secure, private spot for dogs of all sizes to run, play and swim with friends.  Rodger and Glenn are very proud of the centre they have created and invite your dogs to come and join them as all dogs love Happy Tails doggy day care.
